The photo shows a steady rest designed for a slant bed lathe, but can be designed to fit applications from flat bed CNC's to manual lathes as well as VMC's with 4th axis tables.
The design allows for a wide range of sizes, tool support, and rigidity needed to produce excellent finishes on Daewoo, Mori Seiki, and variety of other machine shop equipment.
All models come with a fitted cover and a roller cart. Most models can be designed to fit other machines besides Daewoo and Mori Seiki lathes, these models can be designed to fit flat bed lathes and CNC milling tables, and a variety of other machine shop equipment. These are all full wrap manual steady rests, designed for excellent tool support.
